EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (WAOW)--

Last year at this time the boating industry was struggling with supply chain issues, but this year they are ready to hit the water.

It's a battle that's lasted months on end.

"Stuff I ordered last fall I finally got this spring so it's been a challenge," said Dutch Deick, Head Coach at Your Boat Club.

Deick said things are finally starting to take a turn, which is news to his ears as we get closer to Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer.

"It's been a very unique situation. I think we've all grasped delayed gratification to a certain extent, we've been forced into that. In some ways that's good and in some ways it's not, because we are so used to getting everything immediately," Deick said.
