Boating Rules & Regulations

Boating and fishing regulations vary per state. Your Boat Club currently has locations in 4 states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Florida. See below for state-specific regulations. Please note: these certification requirements are established by state law and are not unique policies created by Your Boat Club. As a boating provider, we are required to comply with these regulations and ensure that all of our boaters meet the applicable state requirements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and compliant boating experience for everyone.

Safety is a top priority at Your Boat Club. To support safe boating and comply with state regulations, we're rolling out boater safety certification requirements across our locations over time. You will see many of these updates in our Reservation System when you join as a member or create an account as a renter. We appreciate your patience as we implement these updates and remain committed to making the process as simple and convenient as possible. Please contact us at 612-208-1800 for help uploading your documents for easy access!

All members and boat drivers, regardless of age, must hold a boater’s safety certificate in order to legally operate a boat.
