About The Lake
Our Eagle River Marina is located on the North end of the Eagle River Chain. This series of 28 lakes is the largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world, with incredible bass, panfish and musky fishing. The quality of water is exceptional, with average lake depths of 18-30 feet. The City of Eagle River is a top notch tourist destination nestled in the stunning Wisconsin Northwoods, and there are many local restaurants, taverns, golf courses, resorts, & campgrounds to choose from because of this. Summer vacationers can experience just about every water activity imaginable on the 11,000 plus acres of water.

In order to start your boating excursion off on the right foot, stop by one of the local coffee shops for some fresh coffee, for instance: Eagle River Roasters, a drive less than five minutes from our location. Or, try out Blend Coffee, Wine, Beer, and Food! Jen’s Dinky Diner is also a local favorite, known for being family run with homemade classics. Similarly, Leif’s Cafe on the other side of the river from YBC, is a “No Nonsense American Diner and Cafe,” Another place to check out would be Eagle Baking Company in the heart of downtown known for its delicious desserts and pastries.
Ultimately, there’s a handful of places for lodging in the area. Because or Eagle River’s popularity, there are a handful of places to stay and have fun. Bridgewater Inn overlooks the River, and is only a 12 minute drive from YBC – ER. The Edgewater Inn and Cottages makes for another great place to stay on your getaway, with cozy little cabins for rent, lakeside access, and more. Likewise, there are a handful of other establishments in the area as well, from Everett Marina Resort to the Eagle River Inn & Resort (with Chef Rene’s restaurant attached to it for your dining convenience!) to Super 8 in downtown.
