About The Lake
Our Eagle River Marina is located on the North end of the Eagle River Chain. This series of 28 lakes is the largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world, with incredible bass, panfish and musky fishing. The quality of water is exceptional, with average lake depths of 18-30 feet. The City of Eagle River is a top notch tourist destination nestled in the stunning Wisconsin Northwoods. There are many local restaurants, taverns, golf courses, resorts, & campgrounds to choose from if you’re planning to make a trip. Summer vacationers can experience just about every water activity imaginable on the 11,000 plus acres of water. It’s also a great spot to reconnect with nature, with abundant sightings of deer, eagles, turtles and other wildlife.

Bait & Tackle Options
To start your boating excursion off on the right foot, stop on by one of the local coffee shops for some fresh coffee, including: Eagle River Roasters, a drive less than five minutes from our location, or try out Blend Coffee, Wine, Beer, and Food! If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast meal, Jen’s Dinky Diner is a local favorite, known for being family run with homemade food! There’s also Leif’s Cafe on the other side of the river from YBC, a “No Nonsense American Diner and Cafe.” For your loved ones with a sweet tooth, check out Eagle Baking Company in the heart of downtown with delicious desserts and pastries, not far from YBC.
There are several other great restaurants nearby, especially if you’re looking for a lunch or dinner meal. If you’re looking to stay close by your boat/the water, Eddie B’s White Spruce has 12 slips for docking and is a gorgeous lakeside dining option. If you don’t mind going a little off-shore, The Craftsman American Tavern is a local favorite, as well as Butch’s Pizza North just a few minutes away. If you’re in a hot dog mood, House of Dogs is known for their delicious hot dog menu and outdoor seating! Smuggler’s Bar is a great place to sit down and enjoy a few drinks, with its cozy and comfortable interior. Another popular bar is Erin’s Pub’n’Grub, only a short ways up N Railroad Street over the river.
Looking for a place to stay? There are a variety of options in the Eagle River area. Bridgewater Inn overlooks the River, and is only a 12 minute drive from YBC – ER. The Edgewater Inn and Cottages makes for another great place to stay on your getaway, with cozy little cabins for rent, lakeside access, and more. There are a handful of other establishments in the area as well, from Everett Marina Resort to the Eagle River Inn & Resort (with Chef Rene’s restaurant attached to it for your dining convenience!) to Super 8 in downtown.
