Please note that there will be active construction in the area near our marina during your visit.
Construction is expected to start in May and go through November 2026. This will affect people traveling from East to West via 394/Hwy 12. To ensure a smooth arrival:
Two Car Limit: Each reservation is permitted to park two vehicles on-site at the marina.
Carpool: Coordinate with your guests to carpool as much as possible.

Welcome to YBC – Minnetonka (Brown’s Bay)! This is one of two locations we have on this lake. Lake Minnetonka is Minnesota’s ninth largest lake, popular among boaters, sailors, and fishermen alike. There are over 14,500 acres of water here to explore! According to lakeminnetonka.com, “the lake was formed by glacial melting in the last ice age, and covers 125 miles of shoreline. This massive, sprawling body of water is actually 40 virtually independent bodies of water.”

Parking: At the Brown’s Bay Marina location, parking can be a bit tight on busy weekends and is limited to two vehicles per boat. *Please do whatever you need to do to consolidate vehicles between you and your guests.
Our boats are located on the east of Brown’s Bay side by the blue and white gazebo. Please feel free to park by the gazebo. We have parking lot attendants who can assist with double parking.

Tubing is allowed for members only at this location.
Tube & rope available for members with a boat reservation, at no additional cost with annual membership.

Ice: No ice for sale. However, there is ice for sale down the road at our other Minnetonka location (Smith’s Bay).
Gas: Gas is available to the public.
Rental and member boat reservations will come with a full tank of gas. This is separate from the boat rental cost and you will be charged for the fuel you use on your trip upon your return.
