Take in the beauty of northern Minnesota with Your Boat Club and Polaris
Miles of trails await and we have maps on site but you can view them online here as well if you’d like to plan your trip in advance. Enjoy hundreds of miles of groomed trails in breathtaking northern Minnesota, from rugged forest to serene lake trails on some of the most beautiful bodies of water in the world! Take in the views from scenic overlooks and enjoy your trail lunch or try one of our preferred restaurants.
A number of dining options are available including The Vermilion Club, Benchwarmer Grille, and The Good Ol’ Days Bar & Grill, all right in Tower and ready to welcome visitors on their sledding adventure. If you check out The Good Ol’ Days be prepared to be swept back in time when you walk in – everything about their place is old fashioned, from the food to the rockin’ décor. Stop in for breakfast and sip on their award-winning Bloody Mary to wash down your omelet. Or try their juicy Good Ol’ Burger for lunch – it’s a Tower delight that you won’t want to share!
If you’re seeking lodging for your stay, we highly recommend Timber Trail Lodge in nearby Ely – our members and renters receive a discount and you are able to keep your sled with you overnight so you’re ready to hit the trails again in the morning! Located on the White Iron Chain of Lakes and family owned and operated, it’s the perfect place to recharge while on your Polaris Snowmobile Adventure.
While you’re up in Tower you can also stay at the Marjo Motel, Pike Bay Lodge (both of these also offering discounts to YBC customers), or Fortune Bay Resort Casino. Fortune Bay is right on Lake Vermilion near our location – after your rental stop inside for some gaming action and check out their calendar here for other events and attractions. The Vermilion, Cook, and nearby Ely area has fun for the whole family, including the North American Bear Center and the International Wolf Center. Visit the Wolf Center on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during winter months and learn about wolves and their relationship to wildlands, fascinating! Also be sure to check out the shops of historic downtown Ely, they have something for everyone and you won’t be disappointed.
We can’t wait to see you in Tower on your next adventure, whether it’s snowmobiling or boating!
