Boating Parameters: As far south as River Heights Marina in Inver Grove Heights, by Mississippi Pub and Overboard Bar and Grill. As far north as the Ford Dam.

    Check-In: Come inside the building at the front desk of the marina for check in, blue building with YBC sign. We’ll open gate for you to drive to the dock.

dining

Cruise past downtown St. Paul and treat yourself to delicious food at Mississippi Pub. While it may be a bit of a boat ride, you'll be glad you made the journey. With options ranging from burgers to tacos, there’s something for everyone!

Head into downtown St.Paul to explore the variety of shops the city has to offer. From general stores to boutiques, shopping is a great way to spend your time in the twin cities.

swimming

Fort Snelling State Park features a swimming beach in the northern section of the park. Be sure to swim with caution in designated areas and always verify that swimming is safe and permitted.

fishing

Try fishing where the channel north of Pike Island meets the Mississippi River. In mid-summer, the fishing is good for carp, drum, catfish, and Smallmouth Bass.

sightseeing

Visit historic Fort Snelling, a Civil War-era military structure, and check out its visitor center. You can also explore nearby hiking trails for a great outdoor experience.
