Welcome to YBC – Mille Lacs! Mille Lacs is a large-yet-shallow lake is located just 20 minutes from Brainerd and roughly 80 miles north of the Twin Cities. This 132,516 acre lake covers a total of 207 square miles and is Minnesota’s second-largest inland lake. Mille Lacs provides a quick opening for a fun weekend getaway and is sure to be the memory-making destination you’re looking for.

Check-In: Please check in at the blue and white YBC office building located to the right side of the Garrison Marina building.

According to the DNR, “Mille Lacs Lake is best known for its phenomenal Walleye catch rates but also offers several other trophy fishing opportunities. During the winter, venture out on the lake for a fast-paced walleye bite, catch a few tullibee or fish for some trophy northern pike. During the summer, you may hook into a trophy smallmouth bass, muskellunge or northern pike.”

Rental and member boat reservations will come with a full tank of gas. This is separate from the boat rental cost and you will be charged for the fuel you use on your trip upon your return.
