At certain times, the renter and member may need to move car after checking in and park at our overflow gravel lot 50 yards to the west of the main entrance. THINGS TO DO AND SEE

dining

Stop into The Rusty Cup at Silver Rapids Lodge for drinks and delicious pizza, all set to the backdrop of live music and a warm, Midwestern atmosphere.

shopping

Ely features a delightful shopping district filled with local boutiques and charming souvenir shops. Whether you’re looking for handmade crafts, fishing gear, or hardware essentials, the friendly business owners are eager to help you find exactly what you need.

swimming

Soak in the waters of White Iron Lake, near the Silver Rapids. There is a strong current in the channel between White Iron Lake and Farm Lake. We strongly advise against swimming in that area. Instead, enjoy the sandy beaches along White Iron Lake or Farm Lake.

fishing

The White Iron Chain is known for its plentiful supply of walleye, crappie, bass, northern pike, and more. Fish for walleye reaching up to 32 inches and northern pike stretching up to 43 inches.

sightseeing

Ely is home to an abundance of creativity and talent. Enjoy a range of entertaining exhibits and shows featuring artists and musicians. Aquant yourself with must-see attractions, including the North American Bear Center, the International Wolf Center, the Dorothy Molter Museum, Sibley Mine Tours, Pillow Rock and the Hegman Lake pictographs.
